Home is where the Heart is

The Akimen smiled out at the snow. He'd been sad all week since his fall and revelation that he was to be influenced by His Shadow. This sadness was kept deep in his heart, and he still was sad now, with the night newly fallen and the snow coming in full baskets from the heavens. But he had only to think upon Shier and the sadness lifted like a morning fog struck by the sun.

This didn't take too long, but it took a week nonetheless. Between computer problems and work, you know. But I got a new computer, courtesy of a good friend for a good price, with a new version of photoshop, and it handles the new graphics and res Wonderfully! 8D See all that shading? No lag time at all anywhere on it. Poor old computer would've had trouble opening such a file.

So, here we have Takao and Shier from Amidror, cozy-ing it up after their last picture, safe and sound at Hathera under the Kakereban Ambassador's protection and housing. For a while they'd allow themselves to forget the trials of the past week and those to follow.

Rather proud of this one. I'm seeing mistakes here and there, but I'm also seeing improvements that I've made to my overall style. I feared that I've been making my stuff too realistic, but it still looks good.
